According to the Decree, the State Patent Service of Kyrgyz Republic shall be authorized to administer the domain name "KG".

Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic
Given that the “KG” top-level domain, identifying the country code, is a national resource and in order to arrange the functioning of national domain names, I decree:
1. To consider reasonable that the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic is an appropriate authority to administer the “KG” country code top-level domain.
2. Government of the Kyrgyz Republic during one month shall accordingly:
- prepare an Action Plan to transfer the administration of “KG” top level domains;
- elaborate and introduce respective draft enactments arising from this Decree;
3. Enforcement of this Decree shall be provided by the Division for Economic and Social Policy and the Legal Policy Division of the Administration of President of the Kyrgyz Republic
4. This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its official publication.
