Resolution on Realization of the Decree of President of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Organization of the National Domain names System Functioning”

On July 29, 2009 Mr. Igor Chudinov, Prime-Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic signed the Resolution on Realization of the Decree of the Kyrgyz Republic President “On Organization of the National Domain names System Functioning”.
In accordance with the Decree of President of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Organization of the National Domain names System Functioning” of April 7, 2009, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic hereby provides:
1. To establish the Administration Center of the Domain zone “KG” under the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
2. To establish the staff of the Administration Center of the Domain zone “KG” under the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic comprising 11 persons at the expense of staff reduction of the Central Office of the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
3. The Administration Center of the Domain zone “KG” under the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic shall be funded by the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
4. To make the following additions into the Regulation “On the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic”, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic of August 17, 2007 No 340 “Matters of the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic”:
- to supplement the first subparagraph of the Paragraph 1 after words “unified State policy in the field of Intellectual Property protection” with the words: “ as well as implements the “KG” ccTLD administration”;
- to supplement Paragraph 4 with subparagraph of the following wording: “- administration of the “KG”domain zone;
- to supplement Paragraph 5 with subparagraph of the following wording: “- servicing of registered domain names in the domain zone;
- to supplement Paragraph 6 with subparagraph of the following wording: “- to conclude subcontracts on registration and service of domain names in the national domain zone.
5. The State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic during two months should undertake the following actions:
- to submit for approval by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic the draft Regulation on the Administration Center of the Domain zone;
- to submit its proposals for compliance of earlier approved decisions of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic with the present Resolution.
6. The present Resolution realization shall be supervised by the Department of Education, Culture and Sport of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
